I adapted the convertible bench design to suit the lumber that is commonly available
which amounted to minor dimensional changes. From the bench configuration, the bench
back flips up to form a half table. The half tables come in two varieties so that
they can fit well together and form a practical full picnic bench. From what I find,
the bench configuration is much more enjoyable to use than the pair of half tables,
except when you really need a table.
